On a recent trip to the beach, my pal Mike had the idea to pull a large stick out of the sand and put it on the fire. The task seemed easy at first but after having our digging efforts cancelled by wet sand quickly filling in our hole, the task took what seemed like days to complete. Determined, we eventually uprooted the large stick, and had a brief proud moment before we incinerated it.
